Understanding Silicone Molds, Casting, and Design Repetition
All designs can be repeated by creating a silicone mold from the original wax model. If a silicone mold is made, the caster can retain the original wax, allowing future reproductions. If no silicone mold is created, the wax will be directly cast as a one-time piece. Even after casting, once the design exists in metal form, a new mold can still be made from the metal if repetition is later desired. This process offers flexibility while ensuring practical and mutual benefit for all parties involved.
